At the end of last year, APS packaged up and sent off some of our lights - Professional IP-rated SGM P10 LED flood / wash lights with a standard 10° beam angle to be precise – to help illuminate the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.
It was part of the celebrations marking the 10th anniversary of World Heritage Site status for the aqueduct and Llangollen Canal.
These extremely powerful lights come with a selection of useful lenses including 19°, 45°, and 60° x 12° - horizontal and vertical, allowing a wide range of illumination possibilities from a single source.
For more fun, they can also be used for eye-candy with four independently controllable sets of LEDs within each fixture.
With full DMX control, and the usual TV and theatre features such as dimming curves, strobe and frequency adjustment these luminaires come into their own when larger spaces and/or objects need lighting up.
This was definitely the case with the aqueduct and we were delighted to get to see the end results. The site looked amazing, as you can see from the photos above and below.
Thanks to the Canal and River Trust for sharing their beautiful photographs with us.
